Kenneth Ray Adams, a 22-year-old transient, was found fatally shot on July 26, 2020, in Oakland, California. His body was discovered around 6 a.m. on a footbridge that connects the 1200 block of Lakeshore Avenue to Lake Merritt Boulevard, spanning over the Lake Merritt Channel. The area is known to have some homeless camps, but authorities have not confirmed if Adams resided in any of them.
