On September 7, 2020, Samantha Sourignasak, age 44, was tragically killed in a mass shooting at an illegal marijuana grow operation in Aguanga, California. The incident occurred at a remote property on Highway 371, where Riverside County deputies responded to reports of an assault around 12:33 a.m. Upon arrival, authorities discovered six individuals who had been fatally shot and one woman, later identified as Sourignasak, who was still alive but succumbed to her injuries at the hospital.
