Nicholas Armando Burgos Jr., a 38-year-old Latino male, died on November 1, 2020, after being shot by law enforcement officers. The incident occurred near 1000 W. Carson St. in West Carson, California. According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records, Burgos was shot multiple times by a Los Angeles County sheriff's deputy. The shooting took place inside Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, where Burgos had been hospitalized following an earlier incident.
