Abdolvahab Alaghmandan, a 63-year-old resident of Hayward, California, tragically lost his life on May 26, 2021, during a mass shooting at the Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) light rail yard in San Jose. Alaghmandan, known affectionately as "Abdi," was a substation manager who had dedicated 20 years of his life to the VTA.
