Christopher Ricardo Cantero, a 15-year-old Latino male, tragically lost his life on July 7, 2021, in Compton, California. According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records, Christopher was shot near 103 E. Cypress St. in Compton. The incident occurred in the evening, and despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries. The community was left in shock and mourning over the loss of such a young life.
