On July 16, 2021, 21-year-old Alex Cerda was tragically killed in a shooting incident in Old Sacramento, California. The Sacramento County Coroner's Office confirmed that Cerda was one of the two victims who lost their lives in the shooting that occurred near Candy Haven on the corner of Front Street and L Street.
