Maria Lucido Thornton, aged 54, was found dead on September 5, 2021, in her home in Arcadia, California. The tragic incident was initially reported as a possible murder-suicide. Authorities responded to a call at around 11:05 a.m. and discovered the bodies of Maria and her husband, Paul Thornton, 58, both with gunshot wounds to the upper torso.
