Louie Velasco, a 44-year-old Latino male, tragically lost his life on December 6, 2021, in the Florence-Firestone area of California. According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records, Velasco was shot near 2100 E. 85th St. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, and despite efforts to save him, Velasco succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The community was left in shock and mourning as news of his death spread.
