Shelby Dorris Jr., a 45-year-old resident of Imperial Beach, California, was tragically shot and killed on January 30, 2022. The incident occurred around 3 a.m. in an alley located in the 800 block of Georgia Street. Deputies from the Imperial Beach Sheriff's Substation responded to reports of gunfire and found Dorris unresponsive with a gunshot wound. Despite efforts by deputies and firefighters to save him, Dorris was pronounced dead at the scene.
