Eric Castro, a 25-year-old resident of Inglewood, California, tragically lost his life on March 7, 2022, during a baby shower in Hawthorne. The incident occurred around 11:50 p.m. in the 3900 block of West 118th Street. According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, which assisted the Hawthorne Police Department in the investigation, Castro was found in the backyard of the residence, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.
