Mark Strauss Jr., also known by his stage name "Buddha," was tragically killed on March 20, 2022, in Merced, California. The 30-year-old father had recently embarked on a music career and was at a local convenience store, Shop N Go, to record a video when the incident occurred. The area was suddenly engulfed in gunfire, with bullets flying in all directions, hitting cars, a house, and parts of the store.
