Sandra Deleon, a 37-year-old woman from Pacoima, California, tragically lost her life on May 24, 2022, in Palmdale. The incident occurred in the 36800 block of James Place, near Joshua Hills Park, around 3:34 p.m. Deputies from the Palmdale Sheriff's Station responded to a call regarding shots fired and found Sandra Deleon with a gunshot wound to her upper torso. She was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. The Los Angeles County coroner's office later confirmed her identity.
