A 65-year-old male, Richard Crowder, of Exeter, California, was shot to death in his home in the early morning of May 30, 2022. The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office was called to a residence in the vicinity of Spruce and Alfred Streets at about 1:30 a.m. after reports of gunshots. When they arrived, Crowder was found dead inside the home, having suffered fatal gunshot wounds. His dogs were also shot; at least one of the dogs died.
