Angel Velasquez, a 6-year-old boy from Baldwin Park, California, tragically lost his life on June 5, 2022. The incident occurred in the backyard of his home, where he lived with his mother, Yesli Velazquez Gonzalez, and her boyfriend, Rigoberto Covarrubias. On that fateful day, both Angel and his mother were shot multiple times. Yesli Velazquez Gonzalez was pronounced dead at the scene, while Angel was rushed to a hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. The community was left in shock ...
