On October 15, 2022, Octavio Medina Salas, a 38-year-old resident of Delano, California, was tragically killed in a shooting incident. The Kern County Sheriff's Office reported that officers were dispatched to the Park Place Apartments on 5th Avenue in Delano around 6:25 p.m. following reports of shots fired and a man down. Upon arrival, officers found Medina Salas suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to Adventist Health Delano, where he succumbed to his injurie ...
