Maria Del Rufugio Mora, a 36-year-old mother of three from Santa Ana, California, tragically lost her life on December 4, 2022, as a result of a stray bullet. The incident occurred in a parking lot on South Main Street, where Mora was struck by gunfire intended for two teenage boys who were fleeing from a drive-by shooting.
