Jave Rex (JR) Garanganao, a 41-year-old security guard, tragically lost his life on December 28, 2022, in Los Angeles, California. Garanganao was working at a private student housing complex near the University of Southern California (USC) when he encountered a trespasser. The incident occurred just before 12:47 a.m. at the Lorenzo complex, located at 23rd and Flower streets, approximately half a mile from the main USC campus.
