Patrolman Allan Bruce McLeod, a 29-year-old male with the New Rochelle Police Department, was shot and killed on February 14, 1977, while responding to an active mass shooting at the Neptune Worldwide Moving Company in New Rochelle, New York. According to contemporaneous reports and official memorial records, he had served approximately six years on the force and was the first officer on scene that morning.
