On February 14, 1977, in New Rochelle, New York, James Green, a 45-year-old male employee at the Neptune Worldwide Moving Company, was shot and killed during a workplace mass shooting. James Green, age 45, male, and identified in contemporary reporting as African-American, was in the drivers’ room when the gunman opened fire; he was struck in the back and died instantly.
