Dominick Ciscone, a 17-year-old from Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, was tragically killed on the night of July 13, 1977, during the infamous New York City blackout. The blackout, caused by lightning strikes on a power substation, plunged the city into darkness for 25 hours, leading to widespread looting, fires, and chaos.
