Murdered

On March 3, 2015, Walesha Williams, 25, and her 8-year-old daughter, Paris Williams, were shot and killed in their home in New Orleans East. The incident occurred in the early morning at their residence on Duane Road, and a third victim, a friend of Walesha's, was also shot but survived. Family members identified the suspect as Walesha's boyfriend, who was heard arguing with her before the shooting. The suspect allegedly also took money and a cellphone from Walesha's purse after the attack.
