Corrections Officer Anthony L. Brown, aged 30, tragically lost his life on June 18, 1995, in Nassau, New York. Officer Brown was off-duty at the time of the incident, which occurred around 1:00 a.m. on Essex Street in West Babylon. The sequence of events leading to his death began when he intervened in a domestic altercation between a man and a woman.
