Michael J. "Chip" Chiapperini, aged 43, tragically lost his life on December 24, 2012, in Webster, NY. Chiapperini, a dedicated volunteer firefighter and a lieutenant with the Webster Police Department, was responding to a house fire on Lake Road when he was ambushed and fatally shot.
