In the summer of 2019, the life of Timothy Manley Jr., a 29-year-old Black man, was tragically cut short in a residential neighborhood in Webster, New York. On July 17, Manley was shot in a violent encounter that would ultimately prove fatal. The initial shooting left him with critical injuries, and despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his wounds, leading Webster police to classify the case as a homicide.
