In the pre-dawn hours of Christmas Eve in 2012, a tragedy unfolded in Webster, New York, that would claim the life of 19-year-old Tomasz Kaczowka, a dedicated male volunteer firefighter of Polish-American descent. Kaczowka, along with his fellow firefighters from the West Webster Fire Department, responded to a report of a car and house fire on Lake Road. What they believed to be a routine call was, in reality, a meticulously planned ambush.
