Ray Floyd Patterson III, a 14-year-old from Buffalo, NY, tragically lost his life on August 12, 2014. Ray was one of four teenagers shot in a violent incident that occurred near the pedestrian walkway over Route 33 on Oakmont Avenue. The shooting was a shocking event that left the community in mourning and sparked a significant police investigation. Ray was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other three teenagers, who were also shot, survived their injuries.
