In the winter of 2014, a tragic home invasion in Jamaica, Queens, claimed the life of 21-year-old Taquane Clark. On December 5th, the young man was fatally shot when three men broke into his home. The violent encounter also left his uncle, Jonathan Legister, wounded. Another woman present in the home, Olive Legister, Jonathan's mother, was held hostage during the harrowing event.
