In the Algiers neighborhood of New Orleans, a community was shaken by the violent death of a 39-year-old man, Edward Dobue. On the evening of Monday, September 28, 2015, the sounds of gunfire pierced the night, leaving a local family heartbroken and a neighborhood in fear. When police and emergency services arrived at the scene on an Algiers street, they discovered Dobue suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
