In the summer of 2015, a young man's life was tragically cut short on the streets of Manhattan. Creston Lockett Jr., a 22-year-old male, was fatally shot on the night of July 13, 2015. The incident occurred just before 11:30 p.m. within the grounds of the East River Houses, a public housing development in East Harlem.
