Stashun Thomas, a 22-year-old resident of Brooklyn, New York, tragically lost his life on July 17, 2015. The incident occurred at approximately 9:18 p.m. on Hegeman Avenue near Berriman Street in East New York. Thomas was walking with his sister when he was approached by an assailant who opened fire, striking him multiple times in the torso and right arm.
