In the quiet city of Peekskill, New York, a young Hispanic man's life was cut short in a burst of violence that shattered the December night. On December 20, 2015, 22-year-old Steven Agosto was fatally shot multiple times on Park Street. Police officers on patrol were drawn to the scene by the sound of gunshots and discovered Agosto unresponsive.
