In the Fordham Heights neighborhood of the Bronx, a devoted father's life was tragically cut short in a hail of bullets on the evening of May 9, 2016. Rashaun Ahart, a 35-year-old man, had just returned to his second-floor apartment on Creston Avenue from his job as a security guard. Shortly before 9 p.m., in an act of targeted violence, an unknown assailant fired approximately 14 shots through his apartment door.
