On a tragic evening in Saugerties, New York, 24-year-old Amy L. Burger's life was cut short. On May 31, 2016, police responded to a 911 call that had been abandoned. Arriving at an apartment at 26 Randle Court, officers discovered Amy's body on the floor; she had sustained a fatal gunshot wound. The residence belonged to her 41-year-old estranged boyfriend, Karon Bowden.
