Araceles Colon, a 45-year-old woman from the Bronx, New York, tragically lost her life on November 3, 2016. The incident occurred in Macombs Dam Park, near Yankee Stadium, where officers responded to a report of an assault. Upon arrival, they found Colon with a gunshot wound to her abdomen. She was immediately transported to Lincoln Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
