Kevin Whitening, a 31-year-old resident of Hudson, NY, tragically lost his life on August 22, 2017. Whitening had traveled from New York City to Hudson to visit his family. Unfortunately, his visit coincided with a series of violent incidents in the city that summer. On the evening of August 22, Whitening was fatally shot in the chest on North Third Street.
