Gale Wiggins, a female lifelong resident of New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away on July 10, 2016. Born in New Orleans, she attended Booker T. Washington High School and was baptized at St. John of Arc Church at an early age.
Wiggins was a dedicated employee, having worked at Fitzgerald's for approximately 30 years before retiring from Sodexo about two years prior to her death.
She was remembered by those who knew her as a loyal mother, aunt, grandmother, and friend who enjoyed life to the fullest.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wiggins, Sr.; her parents, Mary and Canton Hebrard Sr.; a sister, Marlene Hebrard; a brother, Robert Hebrard; and a nephew, Jerry Hebrard. She is survived by her son, Robert Wiggins, Jr.; three sisters, Linda Bickham, Shirley Armstead, and Jesses Hebrard; one brother, Canton Hebrard Jr.; as well as four grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Majestic Funeral Home on Saturday, July 23, 2016, followed by a private burial. Online sources do not indicate a cause of death, and there is no information available regarding any arrests or suspects in connection with her passing.
