Jonathan Berlin, a 62-year-old resident of Manhattan, New York, was tragically shot and killed in his Greenwich Village apartment on December 31, 2018. The incident occurred around 5 p.m. when a robber entered Berlin's fifth-floor apartment on Bedford Street. The assailant shot Berlin in the chest before fleeing the scene with a bag.
