In the quiet community of Middletown, New York, a devastating scene unfolded on the evening of January 6, 2019, forever altering the lives of a local family. Inside their Monhagen Avenue home, 52-year-old Jasminn Tracy Emanuel, a female, was found dead, the victim of a fatal gunshot wound. The grim discovery was made by her 12-year-old son, who immediately called 911.

Upon entering the home, they found not one, but two bodies. Alongside Jasminn, her 58-year-old husband, Dennis Hercules, was also deceased.
