Shakeel Khan, a 50-year-old resident of Johnson City, NY, was tragically shot and killed on the night of March 30, 2019. Khan, originally from Pakistan, had moved to the United States about 15 years prior and had settled in Broome County two years before his death. He was the owner of Halal Bites, a popular local restaurant known for its grilled chicken over rice and other dishes.
