In the early hours of a Thursday in July 2019, the quiet of Cobleskill, New York, was shattered by an act of violence that would claim the life of a local man and lead to the arrest of a teenager. Timothy J. Oldorff, a 50-year-old male resident, was discovered by State Police at a home on Lamont District Road with a gunshot wound to the back of his head. He was quickly airlifted to Albany Medical Center, but his injuries proved to be fatal.
