In the late morning hours of September 7, 2019, a burst of violence shattered the quiet of a Rochester, New York neighborhood, claiming the life of 46-year-old James Green Jr. Emergency responders were called to a residence on McKinley Street around 10:40 a.m. following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Green with a gunshot wound to his upper torso. He was rushed to Strong Memorial Hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced dead.
