In the winter of 2020, a Queens neighborhood was shaken by the violent death of Vladimir Olivo, a 42-year-old man. On the evening of January 13th, in the vicinity of Northern Boulevard and 208th Street, Olivo was fatally shot. The incident was not a random act of violence but rather a targeted event with ties to organized crime.
