In the early hours of a Wednesday morning in Manhattan, the life of 35-year-old Kenneth K. Brown was tragically cut short. On July 8, 2020, Brown was riding his bicycle near the Wagner Houses in East Harlem when he was fatally shot. The incident occurred shortly before 1 a.m. on Pleasant Avenue, near East 120th Street. Brown, a resident of the nearby Wagner Houses, suffered a gunshot wound to the torso.
