On a summer evening in New Rochelle, the life of a young man from the Bronx was cut short by gunfire. Devante Lane, a 23-year-old male, was fatally shot on July 15, 2020, at the corner of Horton Avenue and Brook Street. The incident, which also left another individual wounded, unfolded around 9:30 p.m. and was described by sources familiar with the investigation as a 'targeted killing.'
