In the early morning hours of August 16, 2020, a gathering in a Westbury, New York parking lot turned deadly, claiming the life of 27-year-old Alexis Gonzalez-Sanchez of Melville. Gonzalez-Sanchez, a man remembered by his family as fun, outgoing, and incredibly kind, was found with a gunshot wound in the parking lot on Union Avenue around 1:05 a.m. The location was reportedly near a house party.
