On August 16, 2020, Alexis Gonzalez-Sanchez, a 27-year-old resident of Melville, New York, was tragically shot and killed in Westbury, New York. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning near a house party on Union Avenue. Police responded to reports of a shooting and found Gonzalez-Sanchez with a gunshot wound in a nearby parking lot. He was quickly transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead by medical personnel.
