In the early morning hours of August 20, 2020, the quiet courtyard of the Maple Tree Apartments in East Patchogue, New York, became the scene of a tragedy. It was there that Earle Foster, a 52-year-old male, was discovered with a fatal gunshot wound. Police had responded to a 911 call at approximately 3:05 a.m. reporting an injured man, and upon their arrival, they found Foster, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
