Charles Jerome Barker, aged 48, was tragically found dead on October 14, 2020, in Coram, New York. The incident occurred early in the morning when officers from the 6th Precinct responded to a 911 call at around 6:30 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Barker lying on the ground in front of Fillmore Court with a gunshot wound. He was immediately transported to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
