In the early morning hours of a summer day in Harlem, tragedy befell a 31-year-old man from Middletown, New York. Tamel Jackson-Breland, a male, was in front of an apartment building at 230 West 140th St. just before 2:35 a.m. on June 21, 2021, when he was shot multiple times in the back. He was privately transported to Harlem Hospital, just a few blocks from where the shooting occurred.
