Ahmad Perkins, a 45-year-old resident of Red Hook, Brooklyn, was tragically shot and killed on January 31, 2022, in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. The incident occurred on his birthday as he was ambushed while walking up the steps of a multifamily home on Empire Boulevard near Lamont Court. Perkins was shot in the head and died at the scene.
