On April 15, 2022, Sharell Brown, a 43-year-old resident of Rochester, NY, was tragically killed during a robbery at 15 Phelps Avenue. The incident occurred early in the morning, and Brown was pronounced dead at the scene. Another individual was also shot and severely injured during the robbery but managed to stagger to a nearby store to seek help. This second victim's resilience and quick thinking were crucial in directing the police to the location where Brown's body was found.
